Time Magazine was preparing for an issue on smart homes and gadgets and wanted to construct models to show the various devices and features involved. It was the best way to include everything they would be addressing in the article. Over a five week period we designed and built two highly detailed scenes: an interior view of a living room, kitchen, and hint of a bathroom, and an exterior view of an entire house with yard.

 As many of the items are not available for sale yet, we had limited reference and often worked off a single photo from the manufacturer’s website. Through numerous emails, progress shots, and even a studio visit, the final images were created.
