Little Winter is the brainchild of Seattle-based multimedia creative agency Yonder, who approached us to create six miniature winter landscapes to serve as a physical foundation for their immersive digital film installation.

We designed and constructed six distinct environments—an ice fishing pond, a ski mountain, a skating pond, a cluster of hot springs, and a snow-covered woodland with cutaway animal burrows—all tailored for vertical display. Each landscape was carefully scaled and measured to retain correct proportions when shown at large scale.

Yonder later added small figures and animals, many of which were digitally animated, along with environmental effects and an original musical score. The completed work was installed at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, featured prominently on the hotel’s signature vertical video columns in the main lobby, and extended across hundreds of additional digital displays throughout the property, including elevators and the outdoor marquee.
